I am an astute HR Consultant, highly experienced in working with organisations within the arts & culture sectors and with experience in a variety of commercial organisations. Prior to working as an HR Consultant I gained over twelve years’ experience as an in house HR specialist in publishing, manufacturing and oil companies and for Arts Council England

I have a proven track record of providing expert consultancy to clients, usually with little in-house HR expertise, using my extensive knowledge and skills to assist CEOs and Boards with the strategic planning and implementation of organisational change as well as all other aspects of employing staff, their most important asset.

Employment issues can take CEOs and Managers a disproportionate amount of time unless well managed, documented and acted upon. My skills include identifying the problem, working out a solution which meets best practice standards and compliance with legislation and guiding the company to resolve the issue. This includes managing and advising on sensitive matters such as redundancy, grievance and performance issues, the provision of support and advice during periods of change and a legacy of embedded good practice and up to date HR policies.

My success is due to my highly pragmatic and personable approach, and the cultivation of strong professional relationships and partnerships. I am recognised as a trusted, adaptable, collaborative and knowledgeable HR expert.
